mrtn said...: Actually, only some very few people are laughing by reflex. If you look at the crowd shots, there are lots of people just shaking their heads and being embarassed.

But: the president stands up and shakes Colbert's hands afterwards ("very soft hands. Surprisingly soft. Must wear gloves when he's clearing that brush."), and supposedly says "you did good, son."; May 04, 2006 9:04 am
